Who has made into the final round? Shortlist is out!
The contest is closed. Now it’s up to the jury to decide who will win the WSYA 2014.

After a first fierce round of evaluation WSYA has announced the 85 shortlisted project of its seventh edition selected by the jury to get a chance to win this year’s contest!

Until end of August, 40 jurors are dedicating their time and expertise to evaluate all submissions and select the best and most promising projects addressing the UN MDGs.

The WSYA Team is amazed with the statistics.

In this call, the applications from Africa, Arab Countries & Middle East, Latin America & Caribbean have increased. That reveals the importance of technology and Internet as a key-tool on social, cultural and enviromental development around the world.


Following the path of the previous year, Education for All continues being the main category with the most project submission. The second and third position are Fight Povesrty Hunger & Disease and Create your Culture.

The strongest participation in WSYA 2014 came from Nigeria, India, Pakistan, Indonesia and Egypt.
